deream comes true
work for car race
He persuaded his parents and entered a technical school that was famous for mechanic training of car race.SASAKI came to Tokyo and was happy to find classmates that have same will and common topic with him.In Iwate prefecture, he had no chance to talk about car races. On the other hand, he competed his classmates with each other.
SASAKI, a graduate of general course, was overwhelmed by his classmates, because most of them were graduates of automotive course or industrial course and already experienced car races. When he was a second grader, he watched F1 for the first time and began to consider his future seriously. When he could not decide whether he choose “car race” his work or hold it within fun, a word from his teacher pushed him.“challenge it!”
It was 1998, hard time for job seekers, he won a tentative job offer, keeping the word in his mind, from a racing company in Tsukuba. He entered an independent racing company that deals mainly F3 and F4*3 as assistant mechanic.Experiencing cleaning, tire change and measurement as inexperienced freshman, he soon joined actual work from the first year. The race he first experienced was Suzuka Circuit that he watched on Fuji television and dreamed of.
As much as he experienced the actual work early, he had made a big mistake. An accelerator wire that he changed as he was indicated snapped during a run.As SASAKI heard the passion of the drivers for the race very often, a chill might have ran down his spine when he thought how the race and the cost turn out to be.
SASAKI, who was in charge of car care, gained experience with the people both amateur and professional that aim future F1 racers, and advised how to develop the race to the racers in addition to prior car adjustment and parts change as if he were racing manager.Innumerable number of racers won the first prize both in FJ and F4 thanks to SASAKI’s advice, and SASAKI continued such life till he turned 29.
