into the world of parts manufacturing
gets over misunderstanding
“Honda decided to return to F1” I asked SASAKI and he had his eyes floating in the air reminiscing the old days.Such SASAKI dreamed that he was behind the wheel in a McLaren stock car with Honda engine. The world of car race where he spent 10 years must have been exciting for him.On the other hand, SASAKI, who keeps his family, might have thought his family’s future. When he thought over his long life, a career of automotive parts manufacturing, as background task, occurred to him.
Gunma, the birth place of his wife, was the best place for him to start a new career as there are a lot of automotive industries in and around it.SASAKI moved to Gunma and started job hunting, in a while his eyes were riveted to an advertisement for help. The ad. said “we are handling manufacturing of F1 car parts”.SASAKi thought he could start his new life here making use of his career, and he also had the other wish.He wanted to be a master of weld. From here, he started his career in ASANO Co., Ltd..
In the world of racing cars, good-looking is an important element as much as machine speed. The suspension and the tank of the racing car are welded beautifully. But, SASAKI, who was charmed by the beauty, had less experience of welding at that time. His boss of weld section was given wrong information that SASAKI had experience of welding though he explained his career when he entered ASANO Co., Ltd..His confused boss advised him that SASAKI be in charge of bend processing soon when he was assigned.Though SASAKI had not seen drawings, he knew that making efforts came out all right from his 10-year experience in race, so he made up his mind, begged his boss and tackled with welding works heart and soul.
SASAKI, who gained 7-year experience in Asano, reached the level that he can use properly his welding work adjusting to customer requests in detail. He works hard today using his instinct as professional welder.
